[NOTE FROM PASTOR MAYLAN: Since this is camp meeting week, which means I’m deeply involved with its duties, I’ve decided to let Russell Jurgensen’s breathtaking prairie sunset photo serve for Friday’s and Sabbath’s blogs. Feast your eyes!]

I like to talk about light, and this image from a farm near Walla Walla has plenty of light in it. The farmhouse may be hard to see, but it has a dot of light. The wheat reflects the hue of the sunset. I think the color around the sun is coming from a lens flare.
It seems like God gives us hope in a variety of ways. Sunsets are one of the ways. We also get hope through words in the Bible.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1
