This picture sure looks to me like some icy people waiting to thaw out. The ice people are actually the accumulation of splashes of water from a little creek that have frozen on blades of vegetation in fascinating shapes. It reminds me about one of my favorite verses that I have used before.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26
Sometimes we may not realize how cold we are getting until are hearts are frozen. But we can ask God for a new heart.
The weather this last week has supplied plenty of ice. Let’s avoid being a smooth icy figure and rely on God for warmth in our hearts.
