Church is a great place to find friends. My granddaughter arrived at the parking lot to her church at the same time as her good friend from her children’s class arrived. Without planning they even had similar outfits.
I believe the following verse tells us of the value of friends.
I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. Luke 16:9
It seems worth some thought about what it takes to be a good friend. I know I want to renew my efforts to cultivate my friendships.
