This picture made me chuckle with a random friendly dog at a rest area that stopped to say hello. I did some searching for verses with the word friend and found this one.
The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.
Exodus 33:11
This seems like a great example where God visited Moses as a friend and not as a master or ruler. We can treat others as friends no matter their position.
Have you ever seen a dog say hello to every member of a group of people? The dog doesn’t want to miss a single person. I’m not sure why they do that, but it seems like another good example about being a friend no matter the person’s status.
I also like how dogs rarely hold grudges and most dogs are always happy to see their owners. It makes me want to look for ways to be a better friend.
