I saw this swallowtail butterfly a few weeks ago in Linden Gardens in British Columbia. I had seen several flitting around but not landing anywhere I could get a picture of them.
For some reason, a couple of them were really attracted to this clump of flowers and kept coming back to presumably get more nectar.
I think of butterflies when I think of the following verse. They start out as eggs and then become caterpillars and then go into a chrysalis phase where they totally change into a butterfly. Talk about a transformation!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
