Sabbath School Options for Our Children

Dear Church Families,

Here is a list of Sabbath School options for you to check out for Sabbath School, and perhaps also for daily worship or Friday evening worship time. Thank you for making Sabbath meaningful, especially now, as we await opening up our own church one day soon.

SABBATH SCHOOL OPTIONS FOR OUR CHILDREN

  1. 3ABN Kids’ Network (24/7)  Everyday programming.  A lot of focus on Jesus and Christian living.  Very positive and lots of variety.  You Tube choices anytime as well.  Especially good for ages 3-7.
  2. Our own Juniors (10:30-10:55 Sabbath mornings) Contact teachers, Russell or Amber Jurgensen for Zoom invitation.  Thank you, Russell and Team!
  3. Loma Linda University Church (lluc.org) When going to the website, scroll down to see all the different things they have going on. You will find activities for children of various ages.  Shawna Campbell is in charge of Children’s Ministries there.  ~Marian Forschler highly recommends!~
  4. “Starting with Jesus” is a Sabbath School option that Erica St. Michell suggests. She thinks it is aimed for Kindergarten/Primary age children. They have a website where coloring pages can be printed off that are applicable to that week’s story.  Erica says, “I wish it were more interactive, (her children are a bit younger) but they do a great job. I even taped Violet doing her memory verse once, then sent it off to them and it was included in the following week’s video for everyone.”

Nitza Salazar, our Children’s Ministries director at the Conference Office , happily sent along the rest of the suggestions below.  She said, “Here are all the Children’s Sabbath Schools that are happy to have your church kids joining.”
