When I think about this question, many different things come to mind. What does God mean to me?
Maybe we can think about this question together. Our answers are bound to be different from each other’s. It might depend on what life circumstances we are going through at the moment.
We might look at what other people have said about God. But ultimately how we think about God is not controlled by other people’s words. What does God mean to me?
We can’t see God, but we might try to base our feelings on the words of Jesus. What makes His words worth directing our thoughts and feelings? The only thing that matters is if what He says is right in our minds.
When I read the words of Jesus, I find a place of security. I don’t find guilt. I find encouragement.
The deer pictured in this yard seem to stop by regularly, and they don’t seem too afraid of us. They seem to feel security here. What does God mean to you?
