NO SERVICES HERE NEXT SABBATH, JUNE 20: In place of the traditional Washington Conference Campmeeting, the Conference has scheduled several area convocations which will take place Friday night through Sabbath on various dates. Our Central District Convocation will meet on the campus of Auburn Adventist Academy June 19-20. The guest speaker will be Pavel Goia. VBS VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED! Take a look at the opportunities to serve with others. The signup sheets are on the easel in the foyer. This includes set up and tear down on Sundays, June 21 and 28, which is an extra opportunity for those who can’t help the whole week of June 22-26.
ENCOURAGEMENT CARD TRAIN: The Bellevue Women’s Ministry has a collection box in the foyer for you to drop off a card of encouragement which the team will collect each Sabbath and mail a steady flow of love, prayer, and encouragement on to members who could use a boost of encouragement. We will provide postage.
YOUR VOICE IS NEEDED: KSDA and PSAA are looking for volunteers to serve on a Diversity Committee. The purpose of this committee is to celebrate the amazing diversity in our world and school community, and to help educate our students to be respectful of all cultures. ABBA’S CHILD GRIEF CAMPS AT SUNSET LAKE: Death in the immediate family can be devastating for a child. Abba’s Child Grief Camps provide much needed support to grieving children with trained counselors and fun camp activities. If you know a child who has experienced the recent loss of a parent or sibling, please visit www.abbaschild.org for more information. This year Sunset Lake is hosting a special Abba’s Child Grief Camp for juniors June 21-26 (ages 10-12) and for teens August 2-7 (ages 12-15).
