2 JOHN RAW! This coming Sabbath I’m going to do the same thing with the little 13-verse book of 2 John. On a new webpage on our church website, I’ve included exactly what I myself will be studying for this sermon: 2 John in NKJV, NIV, ESV, NRSV and the Greek. I’ve also deleted all the verse numbers! Join me in studying this book this week! — Pastor Maylan https://bellevueadventist.org/?page_id=8808
OBADIAH RAW! Pastor Maylan is urging everyone not only to read more Bible this year–but to read it RAW! What does that mean? It means to read more of just the Bible alone–unflavored by study Bible footnotes, unprocessed by paraphrasing, even unhampered by verse numbering. In his sermon on January 2, he introduces this kind of Bible reading, and suggests that you spend a lot of time with Obadiah using the New King James Version, from which he has removed the numbers, which you’ll find by clicking the link at the end of this paragraph. As you read, look God’s “attitude”. What gets Him emotional? To read this 21-verse book click this link: https://bellevueadventist.org/?page_id=8763
NEW RACIAL ISSUES RESOURCE PAGE: There have been several articles and resource links that have been sent out by the conference and our church. We have created a Racial Issues Resource Page here on our church website to easily access all of these resources. Click here to check it out.

Click hereand you will find a list of birthdays by month of our Bellevue church members so you can wish them well on their special day. If you would like your birthday added to the list (or removed), please contact Kayla at office@bellevueadventist.org
OUR CHILDREN’S OFFERING now helps replenish funds for Vacation Bible School. Even though we have decided to cancel our Vacation Bible School for this summer, we still had already purchased quite a lot of the supplies needed. Since we cannot use them this summer, we will use the same program and supplies for the next summer. Hopefully when this outbreak is all over, we can come up with something fun to do for the kids, even if it is just for the day.
PRAYER MEETING UPDATE: Prayer meeting will now be met on Turbobridge on your own phone! We will still meet on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm. To do this follow these steps from Pastor Maylan:
1. Call this toll-free number: 1-800-309-2350.
2. A woman’s very classy British voice will welcome you to Turbobridge, and will ask you to “Enter your conference ID and press pound (#).” That number, which is the same every night, is 8804901 and then #.
You may hear people chatting if you join the line a few minutes early, then at 7:30 I’ll welcome people and we’ll get started. We’ll invite you to share one at a time what’s been going on during this unexpected time that’s kept us apart, and welcome prayer requests and also what you want to thank the Lord for. We will ask you to “mute” your phone when it’s not your turn to talk, to prevent a lot of miscellaneous noise and feedback. To mute your phone, push the star key (*), then the number 6 (or just use the “mute” button on your phone’s handset).
Then we’ll pray—everyone who would like to offer a prayer may do so, but no one needs to feel pressured to participate out loud. We’ll all be united in prayer, whether we listen or speak. The most important thing is that we’ll be coming to the Lord, together. -Pastor Maylan and Shelley

The most recent texted sermon will be on the page that comes up. To the right you’ll see “Archives.” Click the month you want, and the first paragraphs of all the sermons for that month will appear.
