We flew from Pullman to Seattle, which gave us a chance to see some sights that we had only seen from the car previously. In this image, the Columbia River glides past Lake Chelan. The clouds of smoke in the distance are from fires in the Okanogan National Forest.

It is interesting to think about how we normally only see things from a limited perspective. God sees things from a perspective that we can’t comprehend. So, it makes sense to listen to God’s word.

If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors.
Deuteronomy 7:12

It’s also interesting how we have a perspective to see what the world is like without love where we see awful things. It fascinates me how love can be an incredible power in the midst of evil. Let’s tune in to God’s love and strength as we navigate the world we are in.
