As a kid I sometimes wondered about finding the exact spot where a rainbow touched down just like many others probably did. Oddly, it always seemed to move the closer I got to it. When looking at this image, you can almost picture the spot it lands on. Since this scene is at a horse ranch, I’m guessing there is a horse grazing in that spot just below Mount Si.
I would normally jump into the science of rainbows, but this time I would like to consider a different aspect of light.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:3
One aspect of God’s first words might be the concept of upright thinking as opposed to darkness and bad thinking. People can make so many arguments to twist the truth for their own gain that a person can be shrouded in darkness and not even know it. The best way to analyze people’s words that falsely pretend to honor God is to read God’s actual words in the Bible.
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5
Let’s try to look at people’s words less and focus more on God’s words, which can lead us to what is in the real light.
