Better-than-virtual Camp Meeting 2021

Dear Bellevue Church Family and Friends –

If you’ve ever been to camp meeting, you know that there’s something even better than the inspiring speakers and great music.

It’s the fellowship. It’s chatting with people before and after the meetings. It’s basking in the knowledge that none of us is alone—we’re part of a conference-wide family, moving in the same direction, all waiting for Jesus to return.

Yes, camp meeting will be virtual again this year. But this time it’s better. That’s because starting Friday evening, June 18, nearly 40 churches—including Bellevue—will be “host churches,” showing the camp meeting evening and Sabbath morning meetings on their sanctuary screens.

Q. How many meetings are there? Starting at 7 p.m. Friday evening, June 18, the evening meetings will run nightly through Saturday night, June 26. There will also be 7 a.m. meetings daily, but these will not be shown at the church, but may be watched at home. Sabbath programming begins at 10:30 a.m.

Q. How can I watch? Here’s the best link to go to. It has the viewing screen at the top, but make sure you scroll down for all the options.

Q. Who are the speakers? You’ll hear John Bradshaw, Lee Venden, Bob Moore, Ty Gibson, Randy Maxwell, and others. Click the link below to see their bios:

Q. How about programs for kids and teens?  Check out these links for details and connection instructions (neither will be shown at church—they must be watched on your own devices):

Q. Do I have to come to church to watch the meetings? No, you can watch them from your home. But taking your cue from the growing numbers of people who’ve been coming back to our in-person services, and from how happy they’ve told me they are to be back together, why not try out in-person camp meeting and see how you like it? (There won’t be additional local programming at each meeting—just the video feed.)
